Job Title: Producer
Location: Remote, work from home in the US or UK only
Position Type: Full-time (40 hours)

What’s the Job?

We’re looking for a Producer to join our Production team. As an experienced Producer, you will work to support a cross-disciplinary pod of Engineers, 3D Artists, QA and more to ship updates to Adopt Me and future games. Drawing from your experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, it will be your responsibility to ensure work gets done in our remote-first, largely asynchronous company of workers distributed across the USA & UK.

It is essential that you value diversity and want to work alongside talented people from marginalized groups. We are explicitly a trans, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC / BAME, and disability-positive team, and you will be an active supporter of all team members.

This is a remote position open to candidates who are based in the US or UK and can demonstrate eligibility to work in those countries.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working as part of a cross-disciplinary pod, you will lead Agile ceremonies, create, implement and uphold production processes to ensure updates ship to established time and quality standards, facilitate communication between departments and champion continuous improvement.
  • You will guide the team through the challenges of providing updates to GaaS / service-based titles with ease, ensuring that not only are team members working efficiently, but sustainably too.
  • Work with the Head of Production and fellow Producers to shape the future of production processes at our studio. We’re a growing team, and your ideas and experiences will be valued.

Your Background

These are the things candidates really should have but can make up for in other areas. If you’re missing one or two, consider applying anyway, especially if you belong to a marginalized group.

  • 3+ years experience working in a production-based role on games.
  • Agile experience - including leading Agile ceremonies such Retrospectives and Sprint Planning.
  • Experience creating and delivering an update schedule for live ops.
  • Experience working with embedded QA
  • Excellent communication for both internal and external audiences. You are not only a great presenter but also an empathetic listener, and able to adjust your communication for your audience, be it team members, stakeholders, or external partners
  • Experience working with an international and/or remote team, and a desire to adapt production processes to work in a largely asynchronous environment.

Bonus Points

These are things that can improve your candidacy, but none of these are necessary to apply.

  • Experience working on Roblox and/or other UGC / Metaverse game platforms.
  • Specific experience with Asana
  • Specific experience with Notion
  • You are based in the US. While we hire from both the US and UK, preference for this role will be given to US-based timezone candidates to complement our existing team.

What’s the Compensation?

When possible, we provide transparent estimated salary ranges to set expectations early and to respect your time.

We recognize, however, that salaries vary within our various remote geographical locations. To give an indication of the salary level for this role, we estimate the annual salary to be a range of:

  • $50,000 - $70,000 USD

Our compensation package is intended to be competitive with your local market and is negotiable.

We have a competitive benefits package. Find out more on our Why Work Here page.
